Welcome to the Priory Preparatory School website. I hope that you find it useful and informative.
Founded in 1921, Priory Preparatory School is for boys aged from two plus to thirteen years. We have approximately 180 boys, with one class per age group. Being a smaller school allows us to get to know the boys really well and to forge a strong relationship between school and home.
As well as being highly successful in preparing boys for top Senior Independent Schools, we strive to provide an environment where each boy is valued and encouraged in all aspects of his life, we aim to give all the boys plenty of opportunities in a variety of settings, all designed to give them confidence as well as providing fun.
We believe that happy boys develop and learn successfully so we provide a secure, caring and supportive community, where boys can enjoy their childhood whilst preparing for the future.
Priory Preparatory School provides quality teaching by experienced and motivated staff as demonstrated by our Outstanding Inspection Reports, please see the home page for these. Our boys enjoy a broad curriculum and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities that help them develop into well-rounded, enthusiastic and successful individuals.
I hope you find this website helps answer many of your questions about our school, but of course it is no substitute for seeing it for yourself. I would be delighted to meet you and your son, and to show you the school in action. If you would like to know more please contact my secretary on 01737 366920 or come to one of our Pop In or Open Mornings.
I look forward to meeting you.
